Security is our highest priority. Here is how we handle your data and your customers' data, short and without jargon.
Where is the data stored?
In Swiss data centres run by our partner Infomaniak. If you prefer to host it yourself, we hand over all access.
Who has access?
Only the people on our team who work on your project. Each person has their own personal account. We keep our accounts and servers up to current security standards and apply security updates continuously.
How are logins to your software protected?
With roles and permissions: each person only sees what they need for their work. On request, we add a second factor to the login. The connection is always encrypted (HTTPS).
How often are backups made?
Daily, from the “Operations” plan upwards. We test the backups so they can actually be restored when needed. How long we keep them depends on your needs and is set out in your quote. With “Server only”, the provider makes automatic server backups.
Is our data used for AI?
Only if you want it to be, and never to train AI models. We work with several AI models, for example from Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (ChatGPT), and pick the right one for each task. These models usually run outside Switzerland. If your data must not leave Switzerland, we only use AI models that run in Switzerland: on our own infrastructure or with a provider that guarantees us by contract that the data stays in Switzerland and that it may neither view nor reuse it. You decide before we start.
What happens if something goes wrong?
We inform you immediately, fix the problem and document what happened.
Which laws do you follow?
The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). If your project involves people in the EU, we also follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes. On request, we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before the first call.
Do you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. On request, we sign a data processing agreement under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
What happens to the data when the contract ends?
You receive all data in a common format. We then delete it on our side. Code, designs and documentation are yours anyway once paid in full.
